That's our motto here at Ramona Elementary School. We strive for academic achievement, physical fitness and the establishment of a creative learning environment that effectively serves a diverse population of students. Using available resources, standards-based instruction, data analysis of student work, and differentiated school day intervention programs, it is our goal that all students will demonstrate achievement at or above the proficient level in the core areas in alignment with California State Standards and the tenets of the No Child Left Behind legislation.

ALL of the Ramona Fourth and Fifth grade studnets should be very proud of themselves! Each and every student worked so hard on thier projects and really demonstrated thier knowledge of the Scientific Method. JiJi has Arrived!
Just ask your child about ST Math or JiJi as they affectionately know our penguin friend! Jiji (by ST Math) is an award-winning web-based program that helps students conceptualize math. Instead of memorizing facts, this great series of "games" helps them to visualize mathematics. Without even realizing it, kids are learing how to solve highly-complex math problems and having tons of fun while doing it! Calling ALL Boxtops!
As a great fundraising opportunity, we're collecting Boxtops. These can be found on many of the items you already have in your pantry at home. Each class is competeing every month to turn in the most boxtops, so please send them in! We'll be collecting them all year!
